Sunday Wisdom

"But the angel said to them,
"Do not be fraid. I bring you good news of great joy
that will be for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you:
he is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you:
You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel,
praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
Luke 2:10-14, NIV

Kramer Chronicles-Twas the Night Before Christmas...

and all through the house not a creature was stirring,
not even a catnip mouse!
while on the prowl through the house a sound outside made my heart pitter-patter,
so I sprang to the window to see what was the matter!

I retrned to my prowoling when nothing appeared,
when from the corner of my eye I noticed something with a beard.

Quietly I crept through the house like a spy,
to see what lingered in the shaodws nearby.
When what to my feline eyes did appear,
but monsters with teeth and hair near their ears!

I jumped in the air my heart beating fast,
I must escape now before they get me at last!

But then it occurred to my fine feline senses
this was the night Santa Paws would leave presents!

Not wanting to miss him or lead him astray
I must convince him I'd been a good cat all day.
So I sat with the dogs watching and waiting,
with toys in our minds and much anticipating,

As the candles threw shadows our hopes were alight,
as we waited for Santa Paws to bring presents that night.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
What'd ya expect but a Charlie Brown Christmas tree when you only have Peanuts to spend:)?
Have a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Porch

Hey, you won't believe this but now dad is outside putting up Christmas decorations!
(For those of you who are just joining us, my mom has been decorating for Christmas like a mad woman-see prevvious posts for all the insanity:).
After several hours the front porch of Faith Cottage was decorated for Christmas.
Personally, I think it looks better at night!

Boy, all that work dad did putting up those decorations really wore me out!
Better get a nap in before bed.
Sweet Christmas dreams!

Kramer Chronicles-I'm Going Nuts!

Hey, it's me, Kramer and let me tell you I am going nuts with all of this Christmas decorating!
Everytime I get comfy somewhere, mom shows up with more decorations!
As you can see I finally found a quiet spot in the bedroom away from all of the craziness.
Now I did promise that I would show you the next room so I will but then I am coming back to finish my nap.

Follow me to the library where...yikes!
What on earth are these things?

This is supposed to be Christmas, not Halloween!

 Who put these monsters here?

(You're starting to see the irony in the title of this blog post now, aren't you)?
I mean, c'mon, this is the stuff nightmares are made of!

And get a good look at this guy!
He's Drossel somebody. He's the head of these guys!

I can't believe my mom likes these things!
They're just plain scary!

Get a good look at thus one, he's got a chipped tooth!
Looks like he's been gnawing on someone!

Don't even get me started on this one!

 Some have swords...
 some have weapons...
and some have really mean looking tools!
What happened to peace on earth?

I've had enough of all those scary guys.
I'm just going to sit on my window perch with my back turned to them, maybe then I'll forget that they're there.
You know, out of sight, out of mind?
I'll get comfy and look out the window at all of the...
Oh my, you won't believe this.
Now Mom is outside decorating!
Ugh! I really think she's lost it.
Maybe she can move those creepy guys outside.
Will this ever end?
Come back next week and I'll show you more of mom's Christmas craziness.
Until then,
Purrs and Meows,
Kramer
